For this session we welcomed experienced group facilitator Kirsty Knivett to the Chance project. The session was all about the Bright Sparks preparing to lead parts of the Creative Research Groups with the five organisations. Kirsty led a discussion around expectations, modelling behaviour and safeguarding. More

Right, well today we got together to discuss how were gonna approach the groups to for the 5 sessions and how to best introduce ourselves and turning out the best results from the groups with there ideas. More

Brightsparks ripping it up in the session preparing for their first real group.
We discussed which Organisations we will be working with and talked a little about start dates etc. We also trained up our skills in presenting a good presentation and our thoughts on how to deal with situations which may occur during or after our sessions.

What we have done today is met Stevie Burke, he was talking to us about what risks we have taken, positive and negative. He has done this certain session with us because we will be running this session our selves when CHANCE sets off. We got to have the first peek of our blog and it is totally amazing, the guys at IY did really well and although that the site looks professional it really relates to young adults such as our selves.
